Academic Policies
Academic Integrity
ISM upholds the highest biblical and academic standards. All work submitted must be the student’s own.
Advanced Placement
ISM does not grant advanced placement, credit transfers, or exemptions for previous ministry experience or external coursework. All students must begin at Tier 1 and complete the required courses before progressing to Tier 2.
Communication Expectations
Professional and Christ-like communication is expected at all times.
ISM staff and instructors primarily communicate via:
-
Email
-
The online student portal
-
Course announcements
Students must check email and portal messages regularly. Responses from staff may take 24–48 hours.
Grading & Evaluation
ISM uses a standard grading scale for all courses unless otherwise stated in the course syllabus:
A — 90–100%
B — 80–89%
C — 70–79%
D — 60–69%
F — Below 60%
A minimum grade of 70% (C) is required to successfully pass a course and advance within the program.
Privacy & Use of Course Materials
ISM course materials (including videos, PDFs, slide decks, and assignments) are for enrolled students only.
Students may not:
-
Share course content publicly
-
Repost videos or PDF files
-
Record live sessions without permission
-
Distribute internal documents
Violations may result in removal and/or legal action.
Technology Requirements
Because ISM is online-only, students must have:
-
A reliable high-speed internet connection
-
A computer, tablet, or device capable of accessing course videos and files
-
Updated browser and software compatibility
-
Ability to submit documents in required formats (PDF, DOCX, etc.)
-
Access to email and the learning portal
Students are responsible for keeping their devices functional. Technical issues do not excuse missed assignments.
Transfer Credit Policy
Impact School of Ministry does not accept transfer credits from other institutions, programs, ministries, or prior training at this time.
Withdrawal from Impact School of Ministry & Refund Policy
Missing two consecutive weeks of coursework or participation without a documented or concrete reason may result in administrative withdrawal from the program. In such cases, tuition will be non-refundable.
